A huge thank you all who participate in TDPRI's Shock Bros forum, I've learned so much over the years. I've tried use the collective wisdom found here and put it into a 5E3.

I've got cell phone camera shots along the way but its a pretty vanilla build. I wanted to get the stock circuit working before I mod it. I don't know where I want to be on the louder/quieter dirtier/cleaner graph so I'm leaving my options open. That shows in my Hammond 290bx and 1750h transformers. I just capped and taped off the 50v lead.

Some differences are I put the power tube grid leak ground connection above the board in case I want to go fixed bias later, omitted the second speaker jack for now and had to use an artificial center tap (2 x 220 ohm 1/4 watt, all I had) for the heaters.

Here are my board shots before installation and gut shots, I used a cardboard template. I fixed the OT center tap solder connection and one of the 6.3v heater connections on the lamp since these were taken. Everything else has been okay and I caught those in pre-startup checks.

It started up and sounded great the first time I applied power!
